Wyoming County is included in the Scranton–Wilkes-Barre–Hazleton Metropolitan Statistical Area. Wyoming County’s seat is Tunkhannock Borough, which lies on the northeast bank of the Susquehanna River. The Tunkhannock area is a significant transportation hub within the county as most major routes pass through it. On the other side of the river is an airport, Skyhaven Airport. Lumber was Wyoming’s main industry until 1900, when farming surpassed it. However, since the mid-1960’s Proctor & Gamble’s paper production plant has been the largest employer.
The main routes in Wyoming County are US Routes 6 and 11, and PA Routes 29, 87, 267, 309, and 4002. Routes 6 and 11 diverge after entering Wyoming County from Lackawanna County in the east around the community of Factoryville. Route 6 passes west through Tunkhannock and then northwest through Meshoppen and Laceyville before exiting into Bradford County. Route 11 passes north through Nicholson and then into Susquehanna County. PA 87 enters from Sullivan County in the west and truncates at Tunkhannock after passing through Forston and Mehoopany. PA 29 enters from the north near Lemon and passes through Tunkahnnock and Evans Falls before PA 309 splits off. PA 29 exits into Luzerne County after passing through Noxon Township. PA 309 passes through Beaumont before exiting into Luzerne County.
Kegerreis offers marketing opportunities along US 6, PA Route 29, and 309 in Tunkhannock and Beaumont in Monroe Township.

I started my career in advertising over 30 years ago, selling billboard advertising. Although I have spent time on other forms of advertising, billboards have always been the foundation of the media mixes for my clients. The constant daily exposure and the low cost are why billboards are so effective. Call me; I can help create a successful campaign for you.
