About the Area

The Ulster County market consists of all of Ulster County. The county is part of the Hudson Valley Region and its seat is Kingston. Both the county and Kingston were founded by the Dutch. When New York joined the Revolution against Britain, Kingston became the new state’s first capital, the capital is now Albany. Kingston was a military target for the British, and they burned it on October 13, 1777. The western portion of the county is rural, it shares Catskill Park and Catskill Forest Preserve with other counties. Ulster is a popular destination spot, thanks to the outdoor recreational opportunities in the county. There are 350 miles of hiking and biking trails and 35 mountain peaks used for skiing and snowshoeing. Major routes in the county include Interstate 87 (known in New York as the New York State Thruway); US Routes 9W, 44, and 209; New York Routes 28, 32, 52, and 55. The most populated communities are Kingston, Saugerties, Shawangunk, New Paltz, and Wawarsing. Aside from Wawarsing, these communities are within a few minutes of Interstate 87.

Kegerreis offers OOH advertising opportunities in Ulster County. These opportunities can be found along Route 9W in Saugerties and Lake Katrine; Route 32, Lucas Ave, and Sawkill Rd in Kingston; Hurley Avenue in Hurley; Route 32 in Tillson, Route 32 in Wallkill, Route 44-55 in Gardiner, Routes 52 and 209 in Ellenville, and 209 in Accord and Warwarsing.

Why Choose Us?

After decades in the business and managing billboard programs in top 10 markets, I still gravitate to value for my clients. As such, I absolutely love our Bus Shelter product, which offers small and mid-size businesses arguably the greatest value in all media at only $.50- $.75 cents per 1,000 impressions. Compare that to Direct Mail for instance. It’s like a 500 to 1 in terms of stronger inherent raw advertising value.
