Cumberland Valley High School features a state of the art library and a 1500 seat performing arts center. Their modern athletic fields host all star and state championship games. Their Science Olympiad team won a state championship in 2022. East Pennsboro Area School District operates East Pennsboro High School in East Pennsboro Township. Mechanicsburg Area School District operates Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School in Mechanicsburg. Mechanicsburg has a decorated music program that features a music band, indoor percussion, and color guard. The athletic program is also renowned, with championships in nearly every sport. Shippensburg Area School District operates Shippensburg Area Senior High School in Shippensburg. South Middleton School District operates Boiling Springs High School, located in Boiling Springs. West Shore School District serves portions of Cumberland and York County. There are two high schools, one of which, Cedar Cliff High School, is located in Camp Hill.
High school students throughout the region can study the trades and other areas by taking classes from Cumberland Perry Area Career & Technical Center, located in Mechanicsburg.
