Cape May attracts vacationers from New Jersey and surrounding states, with the summer population exceeding 80,000. Tourism generally generates $5.3 billion annually, making it the county’s single largest industry, with leisure and hospitality being Cape May’s largest employment category. Bridgeton, NJ is Cumberland County’s county seat. One of the region’s top attractions, the Cohanzick Zoo, is open all year round.   Both Rt. 77 and Rt. 49 run directly through Bridgeton and it is easily accessable from both highways. Galloway is a township in Atlantic County. Rt. 9, Rt. 42, Rt. 40, and Rt. 322 all run through Atlantic County, making it easily accessible. Salem is the county seat of Salem County, the state’s most rural county. New Jersey Transit offers bus service between the city and Philadelphia on the 401 route and local service on the 468 route. Rt. 49 and Rt. 45 both run through Salem, making it accessible from the highway. Woodbury is the county seat of Gloucester County. Route 45 runs directly through Woodbury, and the New Jersey Turnpike is right on the outside of town. Camden, NJ is the county seat of Camden County. It is located directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. Camden is the 12th most populous municipality in the state. About 45% of employment in Camden is in the “eds and meds” sector, providing educational and medical institutions. Portions of Camden are part of an Urban Enterprise Zone, an area in which policies to encourage economic growth and development are implemented. Mt. Laurel is a township in Burlington County, NJ. Laurel Acres Park is known for its Veterans Memorial, fishing lake, playground, and huge grassy hill used for concerts and sledding in the winter. The New Jersey Turnpike runs directly through Mt. Laurel, making it easily accessible from the highway. Toms River, NJ is a township in Ocean County, and the county seat of Ocean County. Toms River was named the 8th most populous muicipality in the state and 2nd most populous in Ocean County. Toms River has many shopping malls, including Ocean County Mall, the only enclosed shopping mall in Ocean County.
